Anthology Recordings and digital age diggin’

One of my favorite new record labels, Anthology Recordings is a bit of a contradiction at first glance. It issues obscure albums, lost tapes and unreleased sessions by long-gone artists and bands, usually in the noise, psychedelia, punk, folk, instrumental soul-funk and early electronic genres. The thing is, the label is all about the very current phenomenon, the digital download, so the reissues are not available on CD, just through the label’s online shop, usually exclusively...
